I currently have Marantz 1512 with only two front speakers, and am preparing to buy a sub-woofer first, then center speaker. Front speakers are FOCAL CHORUS 716.
I am leaning to buying SVS type sub-woofer, like:
svs-pb-1000(ported-box) or svs-sb-1000(sealed).
Now, I am thinking, because my current front Focals, have a mid-bass which is ported (or free-air), and not sealed, should I continue in that direction and buy ported versionof SVS? Or complement my current sound and buy sealed woofer now?
