As I type the DOW is down over 300 and falling. Tomorrow we get the dismal July unemployment numbers and no one trusts Obama or Congress to do anything but make things worse...

I was thrilled to receive a demand from my mortgage company yesterday for a few hundred extra for my escrow. It seems my local government decided that something as silly as a 30% drop in value could not possibly be followed by a 30% drop in my taxes so, they compensated by jacking up the tax bills!
What's not to love about government?
