The Marantz CD6006 is not a network attached drive and does not have access to Gracenote which is where most devices get track information associated with CDs. CDs do not have that information embedded. Try ripping a CD on a computer without a network connection and you will get the same info, track # and play time.
Hi,
Thanks for the info, I was thinking I had a problem.
Herbert
Very few CDs have this information on the CD itself.
SACDs normally DO have this information imbedded on the disc.
There are various music database programs, such as Music Collector, that will access various online datbases to get detailed disc and track information by using the disc number code from the disc. This can then be included in the music database on your computer.
Thanks for the info
