Hello , I applied for a patent for below written idea , i do not know it is new or old but i wanted to get your idea.
As you know lawrence livermore is doing researches on creating more powerful lasers and focusing them on to the fuel aberration free. They needed a better lens and they developed continious phase plate , this is a lens where there are steps carved on its surface. For making these steps hassle free , they invented magnetorheoligical finishing. At MF , there is a steel head and there is a opening on it contains magnetofluid. Under the body , there is a magnet which keeps liquid at preselected form. and this liquid carve the steps on glass.
I thinked that if a magnetic fluid drop created on a piezo sensor and a magnetic force , this drop could be dive in to the groove better than the metal needle , and the vibration of the liquid could be listened and used for to amp.
Second idea is to use mf as a vibration dampener at turntables.
