Dallas to Dusseldorf in August (high season) for 2,300.
To put this in perspective, Luft. has no 1st class on these flights cause their Bus. class is just as good:
Motorized seats with massage that make into a bed.
You get on the plane first and by the time coach is boarding you have the seat in relax position with a glass of champagne and a snack' You get a 4 course gourmet dinner on china and linen. Private video screen with 100's of movies and a lot of music.
Put the seat into bed position , lift the privacy screen and sleep like a baby.
In August coach is about 1300 so I sprung for the extra this once.
I've done their bus. class with miles before.
I am actually looking forward to the flight, and that's the difference between coach and bus./1st class.
Anyway, if anyone is planning a trip to Europe this summer, check it out. The seats are going fast.
A typical sale for Bus.class is 3500 to 4,000 with regular Bus.class going as high as 7,000.
