I have decided to purchase a music only system - phono and CD, no music streaming - for my downstairs and need advice on floor standing loudspeakers. The system will share the space with 18 pinball machines.

I have been looking at the following Wharfedale Diamond 250s. The room is fairly open and spacious with standard acoustic type drop ceiling tiles. What are folks thoughts on these speakers and are there other recommendations?
