The Musical Fidelity line of integrated amplifiers offer superior sound quality and a considerable amount of power at their price points. I would advise you to consider them.

Stereophiles, I've become lost in the woods of all the wonderful choices out there for a stereo upgrade. Please help me find a way out!

I initially wandered in looking for a simple, powerful, musical integrated amp to replace a temporary Yamaha RX-V1, which was pressed into emergency music service to replace my dead Carver. Perhaps something like the Parasound Halo?

The speakers are JBL L100Ts, re-coned, re-foamed, and re-domed more than once. I do like these speakers and am leaning towards keeping them, but if there are ridiculously better options, I will listen.

They live in a big room, 20'x20' with an 18' vault and hard floors. My preferred setup is streaming bluetooth, amp, speakers, music. Period dot end. Nothing else.

What say you current stereophiles? Experiences, suggestions, and especially outspoken opinions are valued.

Sure is quiet around here. Maybe I'll get the Parasound Halo, and see how the JBLs sound. If they don't work, I'll pony up for the Magneplanar .7 or 1.7i, but that's another tough choice.
