I am looking for a high quality headphone amp but don't want to spend a fortune - I don't need an internal DAC. I expect to use the tape loop outputs on my Brio R to provide the signal. This will give me acces to my turntable, CD player and electronic files. A few products I am considering are the

Grado RA 1 though I am unenthusiastic about it due to it being battery powered at $350

I will likely pair this with a Musical Fidelity MF-100s or Grado SR225e headphones. Thoughts on any of this equipment, headphone amp or headphones would be great. I could not possibly know less about headphone audio.
