While I welcome the recent Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage, I was dismayed to learn how behind the times I am, as it now appears that the LGBT crown is now LGBTQ.
I surmised that the Q would stand for Queer, and looked online and discovered it meabt Queer/Questioning. So I assume that any future reference to LGBT issues that fail to include the Q will be grounds for being labelled a Neanderthal with no empathy for the Queer community.
The logical follow up eventually will be to include those with uncontrolled and unexplained attraction to animals (to be known as C for "Critters") and also those with zero attraction or desire for anyone or anything (A for Asexual), so that in the near future we will hear often of the still outstanding LGBTQCA matters requiring our rapt attention
