It's good to see Ken Nelson's picture here. For a lot of us in the retail end of the high-end, Ken was the face of [I]Stereophile[/I]. He was truly an old-school man of teh world.
Selling advertising for Stereophile from the mid-1980s to the end of the '90s was the team of Ken Nelson (left) and Laura LoVecchio (right). Laura still represents Stereophile; Ken left at the end of 1998 and passed away in the fall of 2004. Troupers both.
Out of focus in the background of this 1994 Delgado Street shot is Debbie Fisher, who was both the editorial assistant and managed the classified ads for much of the 1990s.
