IMO the Polks are too strident in the upper midrange and do not have good midbass sound quality.
The KEFs are far better IMO.

Hi all!
I am looking for the best "under $1000" bookshelf speakers. I live in Costa Rica, where I don´t have many options, so I am deciding between a pair of KEF Q300´s or a pair of Polk Audio LSi7´s. I want to use them with these italian integrated amplifier and CD player, which are greatly musical.
I am more into classic, jazz, and "unplugged" music than into rock or electronic. I know that choosing speakers is a very personal decision, but I would appreciate your thoughts about this. Kind regards!
My choice would definitely be the KEF speakers.
