I have a Vintage Pioneer 9500 II Amplifier and Tuner and bought a pair of Elac UniFi UB5’s, a pair of Thiel TT1 Floor standing speakers at the company's liquidation auction and have a Fluance Fi70 self powered Bluetooth speaker. Have an optical ran from the Fluance to a BluDento BLT-2 Bluetooth adapter. My first attempt at hifi but sounds pretty good and an Interesting combination. Inherited the Pioneers and went from there, takes the old amp a bit to warm up but it sounds good when it does but I think I may need more modern juice, or more juice. I also bought this Theta digital Casablanca III pre amp device at the Theil auction but still have no idea how it works. Basically I'm looking at where to go from here and I think my amp is the weak point although reviews online rate it really well for an older type unit. With the Elacs and now the Thiels added it's starting to cut in and out and that may be a power supply issue but I'm not sure. I know I probably need one of those because I've just got it all plugged into a roll out outlet thing from Lowes. Need advice on the power supply as well as a long term amp to use with this Theta Processor in case I set up some home media later. Right now I just listen to music on it.
