My 2017 Audi A6 has an excellent audio system in it...labelled "Bose' (hmmmm).
The best one I have ever heard, however, may have been the Alpine system in my 2000 Lincoln LS.
I did a lot to research before making my purchase. At the top of my list was a hybrid, as we do a lot of driving. Second, was a good sound system, So when my research kept bringing back to the hybrid Camry, I read and watch reviews on the JBL system. The Youtube videos made it sound good. So I made the purchase without even trying the sound system. BIG MISTAKE! To me the system has no depth. The speakers in the doors hardly put out anything. I have to fade it almost all the wat to the rear speakers to make it sound half way decent. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED.
I own a 2010 Camry Touring edition which has a double din size HU which can be removed. I upgraded to a flagship 7" Kenwood Sat/nav HU, dynamatted the rear shelf & installed Focal 690CV 6x9's, treated the front doors in Focal BAM acoustic insulation & installed Focal Utopia 165W-RC front splits + an Alpine MRV-F545 amp. The ability to upgrade to the latest after-market HU is the key. Though obviously the latest Camry drives nicer. Choices...
