I had to chuckle at Mike's last Analog Corner . The heated debate that he participated in with Roy Gregory and others seems to be about on par with my many analog loving friends and club members . Seems like there is constant and heated debate at every listening session , whether it's at my place or other . The negativity and tunnel vision that is apparent gets a bit boring and repetitive after awhile . I like vinyl as much as the next person , but I much prefer when my digital buds show up , they seem happy to just listen and discuss music .
I understand that Mike is not just a hobbyist , he makes his living from this , and it's sounds to me like he was right , but I think constant bickering without resolve is enough to turn many newcomers and a few that are not so new away from analog and audio in general.
