Isolation of really heavy components

At long last there's a solution for isolating really heavy things, you know what I'm talking about, things like big VPI turntables, Verdier turntables, flagship Classe amp which the last time I looked weighed in at over 200 pounds, not to mention Maplenoll and Walker and all those turntables with 50 lb platters.

The Super Baby Promethean Mini Isolator is a small steel spring of sufficient stiffness (spring rate) to support very high loads, even when folks use granite or marble slabs under the component. Three Super Baby Isolators can handle loads between 75 and 150 pounds and 4 Super Baby Isolators can handle loads between 100 and 200 pounds. Uncompressed height 2 inches, outside diameter 1.5 inches. Outstanding lateral support due to low center of gravity. Simple, elegant, effective and very affordable.

Give me a spring stiff enough and I'll isolate the world.

Voila! Now we have isolation of really LIGHT things!

Breaking noose! Now I can isolate with great effectiveness, I.e. Fr around 2 Hz, things weighing as little as 15 ounces. Things like uh portable CD players. Give me the right spring and I'll isolate an atom.

Photo of isolating a portable cassette player

Here's one thing you can do with super compressible springs, isolate a lightweight portable cassette player. Led Zeppelin Presence and Queen Greatest Hits sound fabulous.
