Hi,

Decided upon a NAD C368 and ELAC Uni-Fi UB5 speakers for now.

Now working on a best way to store and catalog the digital music I have. I'll have favorites on iPhone but its small 65gb and I'm a year away from upgrade so best bet is to upgrade my iPad to 128gb which will hold my entire digital library.

I have found older threads (~2011) using iPads and skipping the iPad DAC some how. That was 1st gen iPads and maybe there is a better way. Or maybe not and this not a good idea!

Is the iPhone better at handling music? Almost considered a PONO for the simple dedicated device that will live full time with stereo but see they have pretty much gone under... Any other digital audio devices that improve on iPhone/iPad characteristics?

I never had much of an issue switching CD's so will quickly get a CD player but for the first use of new system with be some sort of digital input.

Thanks,

Warren
