Hi all,
Over the post turkey dinner table my nieces, nephews and I got on the subject of music and music reproduction. To cut to the chase they agreed that it would be better to buy CD/LP's and encode them into lossless playback in the computer/iPod. But they are 20 somethings and want to use their music budget to buy only the songs that they want and not whole albums.
Being that this wasn't a fight I could win, we talked about inexpensive music reproduction (a step up from iPod/PC speakers). I recomended PSB Alpha B1's. In the future adding an inexpensive subwoofer for their more "urban" music.
I'm kind of stuck on recommending a integrated amp/receiver. I don't see them playing too loudly and with playing lossly files I wouldn't want them to pay too much for the system... So, a NAD C315BEE? Something used?
What do recommend for playing lossly music?
