It just isn't reasonable to make anything comprehensive because there are TONS of great options at every pricepoint above $100. What's the "best" speaker at $300 example? You have the Kef Q100, Elac B6, Chane A1.4, Emotiva B1, Ascend Acoustics CBM-170SE, Affordable Accuracy Monitors, etc. Realistically you will find people that favor 1 of each of the speakers I listed at $300.

Honestly it's best to just have guides showing people the ins and outs so they know what to steer clear of and choose what goes well with their preferences.
