It works (or did) .....I don’t know what’s wrong... please help

It’s a Panasonic smart tv and a Samsung Blu-ray with 5.1 speakers

On the Blu-ray player the arc mode is set to on
The hdmi cable is plugged into the hdmi port on the Blu-ray and goes into port 2 hdmi slot on the tv which is arc compliant.

I set the Blu-ray into digital in mode
I go to my tv and select viera link to make sure it’s on in the main settings.
I then turn off the tv speakers and set it to home cinema under speaker selection.
The sound then dies, I’ve got no idea what’s wrong

I turn the tv off then Blu-ray and restart both, then I do it vice versea and still no sound.

It was working fine the other day, but I unplugged the hdmi cable because I connected my pc to the tv.

Any ideas on a fix?
