Glad you like them. In general Klipsch speakers are very controversial. You either like them or you don't. It's more than likely the reason no one has responded is because in many audiophile circles Klipsch speakers aren't very popular.
FWIW: I've never heard any Klipsch speaker I could live with.
them temper your enthusiasm. Klipsh, while they are more touchy about components up stream, are clean, balanced and have a fun sound. Remember, it's not OTHER peoples system, it's YOUR'S. Oh, and get those guys some tubes!
I agree with jgossman regarding using tubes with Klipsch speakers.
I love my speakers, but I can't wait till I can affored some better speakers. They can be pretty harsh on the ears at times.
The good thing is that I found a TA-AX500 amp from sony laying around.
It's got waay better sound quality than my old STR-GA7ES. The STR had a range of 30-15 Khz with .1% THD !
So glad I got a new (or old I should say) upgrade!
IME Klipsch speakers sound a lot less harsh when driven by tubes. All of the harshness won't be gone but they will certainly sound smoother.
