I've been lurking around here a bit. Thought I'd make my first post. I've been interested in the Rogue Audio Cronus integrated tube amp. I finally got a chance to listen to it last week in Austin (as the only dealer in TX is there). I loved what I heard. I've pretty much decided that will be my next purchase, I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice on speakers that may pair well with that amp for around a $1500 price point. The only input will be a Rega P3 turntable through the Cronus' built in phono stage. Any suggestions will be welcome. Also, if you think you have a better speaker/integated tube amp combo for around the same price ($3500), please, don't hesitate to join in. For the moment, I want to avoid the extra cost of a separate phono stage, so any amp suggestions would need to have one built in (you have to leave some room for upgrades...
