just found an old fisher "studio standard" model number CA-2220 in an old house. Took it home, plugged it up, and it worked/sounded beautifully. but after i moved it to my new place it worked for 2 days, then crapped out. this is what it does: you turn it on, the meters on the output go all the way to the top, an no sound comes out at all. Is it fried?
