Greetings Stephen, edit options seem fine at time of making the actual posting, but after they are done the edit option goes away after a while (no idea how long). I would have thought they should remain 'edit-able' until someone has made a direct reply to 'your' posting, but maybe that is just me being silly (?) I did notice this on at least one posting after around maybe three or four days.
Anyway, the whole point of starting a new thread is that when you (yes, you) make a posting it sometimes / often does not permit the 'right of response' (if that is the corrrect terminology) on my web page at least - this was one of the main problems with issues such as DUP recently (in my opinion and please do not pile in and berate me for thinking that way...) because I was deprived of passing comment on what I saw as very 'big brother' type decisions - if I had been permitted to question / comment at any time, then no worries whatever (again please note I am not claiming any 'rights' to have opinions to force upon you) but when you raise a thread under the 'administrators' umbrella and specifically request input...and I am barred from so doing...then I get a wee bit miffed...
I will try to reply again in a minute, but have been prevented when I tried so far...maybe a few others can have a go and see what happens...it might just be me pushing the wrong buttons...
