A few weeks ago I was feeling stressed and generally in need of cheering up. Well i spent a few hours on ebay and visiting a local store beverly records. The point of this exercise was to purchase vinyl for my recent revival, however this vinyl was not purchsed with any view to the musical quality it was strictly purchased on emotion and memories of teenage days playing records on a cheap old record player.
Well now a good few weeks later Ive received the albums and have to suggest that this is something that everyone should do. Just set aside a reasonable but not ridiculous amount ( in my case $300 ) and buy music on pure emotion with no view to audiohile quality, this collection of obscure material has been an incredible jouney into my musical past.
So when you need cheering up, dont think about, dont analyze it, just do it !!!
