I have tried the original and a newer Airport Express to stream music from my mac to my hifi system and keep getting dropouts. The music is unlistenable.
This is not just at the end or beginning of songs, but happens in the middle of songs every minute or two.
I am using the digital output of the Airport Express which feeds into an outboard DAC (Cambridge Audio DacMagic Plus, which is about 5 years old).
Any ideas on how to address this?
