I've been reading Stereophile since the small, quarterly, Philadelphia, version existed in the early 70's. I'm still impressed and enjoying the magazine every month.

Unfortunately, this place has less in common with the quality of the magazine.
1) It takes "forever" (wasted minutes) to load and is, generally, a slow site.

2) Too many of my attempted compositions have vanished as I wrote, and several time-wasting, editing problems occur, way too often.

3) Too much drama, immaturity, and self-serving posts exist. At my advanced age, I'm still not mature, but I, naively, never expected to find so many sensitive hobbyists here.

4) As our audio hobby has gone, apparently, so has this internet version ... there's hardly anybody here. Is that because of this particular site or too few enthusiasts with the time to spend, on-line, here?

Lack of time is a significant problem for me, and I'm feeling I may be wasting too much of it here. I won't let the door hit my heels if I go, and I should probably be spending less time on-line, anyway. I'll likely lurk & post.

Hey! This is my longest post without any problems composing it. Murphy must be playing.

Merry Christmas, everyone, and happy New York. May you enjoy good health, family, friends, and sound. Hopefully, we are fortunate enough to be grateful for what we have, and the means to help those who suffer.

Peace!
