Are there any recommendations for a 7.1 receiver for purely playing in multi-channel stereo mode. This is for my basement with 6 in-ceiling paradigm speakers and 1 subwoofer to play background music and dance parties.
I am looking at marantz, denon etc and not willing to spend more than $300 - $400. Also willing to buy used/refurb receiver. Looking for decent sound quality given my price. Will buy adapters for airplay/bluetooth, so the receiver should be compatible with these adapters.
