I am a newbie and wanted to buy my FIRST entry level system for a 10 x 16ft room. So far I have purchased the following:
NAD C355BEE Stereo Integrated Amplifier (new)
Paradigm Studio 20v 4 bookshelf speakers (used)
I have auditioned for a few CD players, and cannot make up my mind. I hope to get some comments from you. My emphasis is on vocal part, and like clean sound.
1. NAD C 545BEE
2. NAD C 565BEE
3. Cambridge Audio 640 C
4. Cambridge Audio 740 C
5. Rega Apollo CD Player
All CD players were hooked up with NAD 372BEE Amp (a higher level than my purchase), and the latest Cambridge Audio S70 Floorstand speakers.
I like both CA & NAD ~ like the warmth & bass from NAD, but the brightness (open) of CA also impress me. What to choose based on my current purchases?
I listen to 80-90s music (Pop, Rock, Bandsound) the most. Rarely listen to classical & jazz.
Thanks!Any comments welcome.
