Honestly this loudspeakers deserve better and powerful amp ...
At least try with bigger primare i31 ...

DAC in Aries Mini is good but no so good to satisfy your ambition i think ... Maybe with additional Linear Power Supply (LPS) you can make another step but this is not cheap experiment . I will try and after that i will decide to buy better DAC .

If you use Aries mini only like a streamer DAC is avoided for shure ...

Dear friends,

I have Vienna Acoustics Beethoven Concert Grand loudspeakers and plan to purchase an amplifier Primare i22 and a streamer Auralic Mini.

4. Could you please provide me with some good links, which contain tests/ reviews on speakers’ wires? After internet research and several discussions with HiFi specialists and sellers, I came to the conclusion that a simple copper wire with 2,5mm2 for EUR3-5 per meter (3m length) would be fully enough for good quality and there is no reason to pay hundreds of Euros for prefabricated cables. I would follow similar logic in connecting Auralic to Primare. I would be highly interested in your opinion!

Thank you very much for your support!

Cheers

You are correct, in my opinion.

The most important thing is to make sure that it is 99% pure copper wire, not some copper-coated aluminum wire (CCA) or other garbage.

A 2.5mm diameter wire is equivalent to AWG #10 wire, which is large enough for any speaker for lengths up to 10 meters.

I am using #10 copper wire for my Vandersteen Treo speakers, and the performance is excellent.

Commsysman:

Just had to drop an off topic note and say I wish I had Vandersteen Treos! Heard them in person and they are an engineering marvel and acoustical delight. Enjoy!

Cheers,

Ron

ps. apologies for off-topic. but spreading good will never hurts.
