Current setup consists of 2 PSB imagine minis powered by the NAD 316bee, sourcing itunes (320kb mp3s) and pandora/grooveshark/etc, via wireless airport express (fairly generic monster Y cable connects airport to NAD unit).
All in all it's a nice setup, but I do get some moments where I wonder just how much playback is being negatively impacted by connecting the airport directly to the 316bee, and if (and which) DAC would be a good option to yield a noticeable affect on sound.
I see that NAD offers 2 choices with their MDC DAC and DAC 1 wireless, but can't find any information about this setup (or any other configuration using this speaker/IA combo) anywhere. Anyone care to chime in with DAC or other suggestions?
