Anybody can advice:how MA8 sounds with Creek 100A? or anybody can advice speakers for Creek 100 A the same price range? Thank you
I assume that you mean the current model Monitor Audio Sliver Series 8.
If so, that combination should give you some excellent sound.
On the other hand, that might not be my first choice at $2000 per pair. I think the KEF Q900 is probably better overall; it certainly delivers a lot more bass, and is hard to beat in that price class.
The Focal 826V is normally in a higher price class, and is certainly an excellent speaker, but Music Direct has been selling them for only $1499 per pair, which is a steal.
The Sonus Faber Venere 2.5 is another excellent speaker, at $2500.
You would have a hard time finding fault with any of them; the best of a good group.
Thank you. This helps my a lot, because I dont have hifi shops our city.I must visit other city and diffcult all connect ,listen.I try to find best sinergy(sound) with my Creek 100a.My room isnt small:about 60(m2)
You asked for suggestions for loudspeakers in the price range about the same like amp , around 2000 GBP?
A5r is under the limit , A6r is slightly over the limit and D7 is more then twice expensive ... D7 is far more better then other two for sure !
I made my suggestions based on my own experience ...I also have big room (50m2) , amp is Karan Acoustics KA I 180 MK2 180 W /8 Ohm) and Spendor A6r and this whole combination works ok ...only open issue is on the night mode , bass is missing .
Proac is a great company but a have no experience with their products .
Yesterday has some test:
Tannoy XT8
Sonus Faber Venere 2,5
Audio Physic Classic 20
I like Sonus soundstage, but AudioPhysic more detailed.Tannoy dont fits with Creek.Maybe if changes some cables.
Wait new tests.
Of all of those speakers, of course the most expensive (B&W CM6) sounded the best. They had the most mellow, analogue sound... but also could deliver crisp yet not shrill highs.. and near perfect mid-range.think acoustic guitar and vocals.. all amazing.
Second best are the Epos Epic 2's with Epos stands. These are made by Epos who is a sister company to Creek and so are voiced and engineered keeping Creek in mind; so they are a safe bet and sound very good. Though they are no longer produced, careful reading of the specs on Epos' website should yield a similar candidate. Just be sure to get at least 6" drivers for bass.
However, the Bowers & Wilkins CM6 (now CM6 Series 2) definitively sounded the best to my ears.
A couple of points I can pass on that I learned:
1. Go for at least a 6.5" driver. 5" is just too small and will not produce enough bass.
2. DEFINITELY purchase the manufacturer's speaker stands if buying bookshelf speakers, as the stands are also engineered to integrate perfectly with the speaker.
3. As the amp is excellent, sensitivity is not a big deal
So that's my experience and advice -
Best of luck, and most importantly, have fun!

Anybody more advices or feedbacks?
Hi ,
Epos is a good match for Creek , and Spendor also ...
Because your room is too big you have to try with efficient speakers like Epos k3 (91dB) or Spendor A6r (88db)
Spendor is my favorite , but price is a bit over the budget . Try to negotiate or by used .
Thank You.I think about Spendor A5R or D7 and Proac D20R or D30R.Any have opinion about this speakers..?

Ask about Spendor D7,because in local shop -40% discount.Just thinking:add some money or save money ☺
Dont wait ,go for D7 , this is a very good choice for many years to come ...

All:
I own the Creek Evolution 50A..the 55 Watt "little brother" to the '100.... I have auditioned the following speakers in my home:
1. Wharfedale Diamond 10.2
2. Wharfedale Diamond 10.1
3. Bowers & Wilkins CM6
4. Bowers & Wilkins CM5
5. Epos Epic 2
Of all of those speakers, of course the most expensive (B&W CM6) sounded the best. They had the most mellow, analogue sound... but also could deliver crisp yet not shrill highs.. and near perfect mid-range.think acoustic guitar and vocals.. all amazing.
