Anyone have an opinion on the various brands of contact cleaner out there. I am an audiophile who gets his system as he likes it and then does not play with it for years. The last time I was involved in a system changeout, I used Craigs pro gold. Before that, going way back as I was out the the country for a decade, I used something called Kontak (sp?) which I really liked.

Today I am shifting out a lot of gear for the first time in a decade and am getting a harsh edge that seems to be cable related on some CDs. My past experience has been that getting a good contact cleaner often fixes such problems.

What is good in the market today? I am leaning to todays version of Kontak but it seems to be a bit pricey.
