This conversation has got me thinking that I'll remove the "Reply" function from the Manufacturers' Showcase forum. I'll do the same for the Dealer forum. These places will be solely for manufacturers and dealers to make announcements; they'll be more like bulletin boards than actual forums. The manufacturers and dealers will be able to provide news and information, which may or may not be of interest to the Forum members, without having to engage in a discussion over it.
If a Forum member then wants to discuss whatever news it may be, he or she can create a new thread in the corresponding forum. For instance, if I wanted to question the price of a new loudspeaker, I could still do so in the "Loudspeakers" forum.
