It sure is changing the way I listen! As I am neck deep in converting the vinyl, most of my listening is as a rip the big discs. But when I sit to just listen, I rarely listen to a whole album anymore. It is much more typical for me to either hit shuffle, or go from tune to tune, or listen to shuffled XTC.
I really just noticed this when I was reading the "What are you listening to lately" thread. Last night I put Kate Bush on shuffle and listened to tunes from Hounds of Love, The Sensual World, and some 12 inch singles I bought. I think the last "album" I listened to completely was DSOTM.
Do you guys find yourselves doing the same? It is like my computer, and that wonderful ease of access, has spread my ADHD to my listening!
