I'm a freshmen in the dorms, working with limited space.
I've got a pair of M-Audio Studiophile AV-40's (integrated amp). The source is my macbook, streaming lossless files to an airport express, which is run through an E-MU 0404, using toslink, that I use as a DAC.
I also have a Klipsch Reference Series RPW-10 positioned to the right of the speakers, but because there is no way to place it right I don't usually use it. The setup works great for now.
