Hi all,
I'm in the process of buying a house, and as a result, establishing a dedicated listening space (at least that's the plan at present). This has me thinking about upgrading my component rack and LP shelving (which currently consists of the mass market particle board "entertainment center" style piece of furniture for the system and crates/boxes for the LPs)
Are there any brands/particular units that folks out there can recommend? Budget is a consideration, obviously the cheaper the better. I need room for 4-5 components and several hundred LPs. $1000 is probably the max combined total that I could justify spending. My system isn't anything too fancy (Rega P1, NAD C370, PSB stratus silver, etc), so I don't know what level of vibration control/isolation I really need at this level. I would like to get a rack to "grow into," but these racks with isolating properties seem to really get costly very quickly.
Thanks for any suggestions!
