I am new to this forum so I hope this is the correct subsection for this query.
I am shopping around few a new Home Theatre Amplifier/Receiver. So far I've listed to the Onkyo TX-NR809, the Anthem MRX 500, and the Integra DTR 50.3
In terms of features, they are all very close comparable. In terms of sound, I was happier with the Onkyo for movies, sport, etc..
However, I did notice that when listening to CD quality music, it was lacking.
I want to know if getting a class AB amplifier would give me a cleaner music sound and how would i use them in conjunction (Class D + Class AB) if possible?
