I'm a newby here so thanks for the help!

I recently came into posession of a Clarinette 95 Realistic 8 track stereo / record music system that seems to be in great shape and hardly used. However the only thing wrong with it has turned into a huge pain in the butt. Everything works except the stop start auto switch for the turntable feels like it is caught on something and is stuck in stop possition.

I have removed the bottom to view inside in ccase it was a simple snag but cant seem to find the issue. I am willing to take it into the nearest repair shop but would prefer if I could save myself the hour drive and $50 deposit + whatever it talks them to fix it.

I would love anysort of advice that could be shared or knowlage of any kind about this issue!
