Here's a nice integrated with phono and all of the budget priced Infinity Primus line of speakers are excellent!

Consider the Onyko line if you are decided on under $400...Though the previous recommendation is great if you can find it for less..
If you are in Atlanta take a little trip over to Underwood HiFi to hear some good stuff so then you can compare that to budget opportunities.
Look for used Magnepan MMGs on AudiogoN. The Harman Kardon HK3490 is $300 at Newegg and has sufficient power, sound quality and additional features.
That reviewer certainly had good things to say about the Marantz. I've been looking at those Primus speakers on their site over the last few days. Was actually thinking about those. I've also been considering a pair of studio monitors.
I was just checking out these two online and they're super cheap. HHGregg has the TX-8555 for only $164. They're the only Onkyos I could find that are 2-channel. Like I said, I want something that sounds good, but without spending a ton of money. Like you used to be able to do. This thing is almost $300 cheaper than that Marantz and not to sound like an idiot, but it has a tuner too. I'd gladly spend the extra money though, if this is garbage.
