I once worked at a place who distributed foreign magazines and newspapers in Denmark, and lots of the mags had diskette games, cassette tapes and other gadgets added to the magazine covers. When the mags got returned we couldn't sell them so they went into recycling, and we ripped the mag covers for whatever it was.

The British car magazine "Popular classics" had at a particular time, cassette tapes with sounds of different cars added to it, and I have at home 2 of those. The car sounds featured are:

Austin A35, Jaguar E-type 3.8 and series III V12, Reliant Scimitar GTC, MG B GT V8, Auto Union DKW, Jowett Jupiter, Volkswagen Beetle, Audi Quattro, Ford Capri 3000 GT, Lotus Excel, Jensen Interceptor, Porsche 911 Carrera Club Sport and Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.

Sadly there are of course no American big blocks (except for the Jensen Interceptor that sported a large Chrysler V8 motor), but wouldn't I have loved to listen to Corvettes, Shelby's etc. Anyway, the sound of a Jaguar or Porsche is enough to make me drool. How about that for audio? Anybody with sounds of American super cars out there?
