I have a TFM-15CB still lying around and have a lot of experience with Carver equipment.

If you are getting no output it could be one of three things
- fuses at the power supply which is accessible via the back of the unit - not sure what fuse they used on this model. On one of my amps they used an irritating ceramic fuse so you couldn't see if it was blown.
- there may be a second internal fuse per channel - this was the case in the TFM line and they can blow without the ouside fuse blowing (I did this once)
- the amp is simply broken and needs to be repaired

If you are getting some output and it is lame and the meters aren't working then it is not the fuses, it probably needs to be refurbished. I loved the way Carver equipment sounded when it ws new and recently burned in but it did not age well. If just the meters are not working, then you would need to send it in to get those repaired.

There is a guy in Pittsburgh who specializes in Carver Repair and one in Portland. There are a few Carver owner forums out there and it is pretty easy to find the info. There is also another thread here where a guy was looking to get some Phase Linear gear repaired and the shop in Pittsburgh was recommended in it. It will probably come up if you search for Phase Linear. They have set prices for Refurbs and do a lot of them. It is pretty reasonable and a Carver Amp that sounds new will sound spectacular.

You may also be able to find a local repair shop that can do this as well. There is a lot of Carver gear still out there so lots of people will have experience fixing it.
