I have a question, and please don't shoot me in the head.
Full range car door speakers, can they sound ok for small desktop speakers or floorstand speakers?

I have a set of Pioneer – TS-G1644R speakers at home, an don't need them in my car. I wondered if I can just create an MDF enclosure, fully carpeted inside and out, and stuffed with fluffy teddybear insides (cotton).

I'm just not sure if this is an acceptable project to do?

I know it probably isn't top notch speaker quality, but what do you think?

Also, if you think such a project is a good one, would you choose a ported vs enclosed design for the cabinet?

PS: I probably am thinking of pairing like 4 of them per cabinet.
