UPDATE:
I have a CAL Tercet Mk III that has been in storage for 5 years. I took it out to hook it up and heard a pop and a wisp of smoke came out of it. I honestly do not know what is wrong with it. This is a great opportunity for any DIY people out there who want to take a chance on a great player that may simply need a cheap part (although I honestly have no idea what it needs, but it is not the transport or the laser - those appear to be fine) or for someone who can use a player for it's parts. I am the original owner and have the original box and packing. The unit turns on, the entire circuit board lights up, it opens and spins a disc, but it clearly needs something replaced. Cosmetically, the unit is excellent - no scratches, dings, etc.. I'd rate it's condition "excellent" if it worked correctly, but it needs repair. Asking $50.00 plus shipping.
