Hey guys i have a pair of bowers and wilkins dm6 and a yamaha as 201 amp but i figured upgrading it to a yamaha R-N 803 is that a good choice since it also has a onboard dac, streaming and more watts in each channel. Plus the room correction will probably be og big help if it actually works with my current yamaha i lean to using pure direct most of the time. I also use the system to play sound from my Samsung ks 9000 and my ps4 pro. I figure going directly in one of the optical inputs of the rn 803 will improve sound by alot instead of using the optical to phono converter i currently use. I also have 2 turnetables and a mixer in the setup. so my big question is will i get noticably better sound from a new amp with integrated dac even though i live in an apartment so its not a bout cranking up the volume its more about fidelity through better amp and dac. please give me your opinions if you have one.
