I'm getting back into vinyl after listening to a friend's newly revised collection.
I know I'm working from the inside out but inserting a turntable into existing stuff but I'm not exactly pleased with my progress and could use some experienced advice.
I now have a Pro-ject Genie 1.3 TT, a HK 3490 rec'vr, Bellari phono pre-amp all running into older Paradigm studio 60 floor spkrs.
My problem is that the sound is sounding flat/muffeled. I've tweaked the TT and preamp gain and gotten slightly better results but still leaves me underwhelmed. I've always been a fan of mid range and it just seems missing....
help ?
