I'm sure most of you are thinking, "DM630's? Never heard of those!" Well, I bought these floorstanders back in 1994 when I was stationed in Germany (my previous CV's were destroyed in the move) and have managed to hold on to them ever since.

They're OK speakers but I've never had them hooked up to a good system; mostly bottom-of-the-line Sony and Onkyo receivers. What I want to do now is get some decent equipment and start enjoying all the vinyl I've collected over the years that I haven't listened to in quite some time....and maybe a few CD's too.
Here's what I'm thinking of... Like most Entry-Level noobs, my biggest consideration is cost. For an Integrated Amp, $750's about the limit. I'm interested in the Outlaw RR2150 or a used Rega Mira 3. The Pre-/Power Amp route could be done with an Emotiva USP & UPA config (I think I'm leaning towards the Mira 3.) I've searched the forums to see if anyone else has the 630's and what they pair them with but I couldn't find anything. Let me add that this will be set up in a small office and that most of my musical taste is Rock (Pavement, Deerhoof, Pixies) with some Charlie Parker to broaden my horizons. BTW I don't have a TT just yet, I'm looking at some used TT's on A-gon.
Oh yeah and I'm going to use the Sony PS1 as a CD player, read about that somewhere around here....
