I recommend the Monitor Audio Silver 300 or the preceding model, the Silver 8. I've reviewed both and own the latter. Give them a listen. You might be able to get a real deal on the S8 now that it is discontinued.

I recommend the PSB Imagine X2T speakers, which retail for $650 each.
