Hello everyone,

I'm trying to get my notebook computer to have better sound but i have a really tight budget. I pretty much live on my notebook so it's most practical and affordable to upgrade the sound on that rather than investing in a home system.

I recently purchased the Creative SB Audigy 2 Notebook and a pair of Shure e3c's. The sound improved but I'm not satisfied. I've never owned or even listened to a great sound system but i know that the sound can get a lot better than this.

I've looked at reviews for the Headroom Total Bithead and the Indigo Echo IO. They are close in price. Which would be recommended?

As for headphones, i'm gonna stick with the e3c's since i can't really afford anything more expensive.

I've read a great review on the Audioengine A2's which i think i'll save up for. Will either the Headroom Bithead or Indigo Echo improve the sound of these speakers in addition to my headphones?

I'd appreciate any suggestions. Also it would be great if anyone knows where i can get the recommended equipment for a lower cost. Thanks!
