I'm looking to get myself a 2nd hand cd player to play the few cds i have, not wanting to spend more than $100 though really, is it even worth it? It's not like it's going with a high-end setup - a nad c320 and royd apex speakers (occasionally tdl rtl2).
Is a nad cd player likely to pair better with the amp, or at this price range is it really a matter? How much has technology advanced in the last 10 or so years, it seems to me that very old cd players had a warm almost vinyl-like quality, is this in a good way??
P.S. I'm new to all this audiophile lark - those above along with a rega p3 are my first components, so I really have very little experience
