I'm attempting to build a larger 'shelf' type system using my iPod and used components purchased here & there. I already have a great vintage HK 440 receiver. I'm thinking a pair of B&W 'bookshelf' speakers to go with it should be just the thing. Obviously, I'm not talking about any of their flagship series models. But over the years B&W has had a great number of different small speakers... & I realize that newer isn't always better. I'm curious if there is a consensus about which model (or range) constitutes the best vintage B&W bookshelf speaker?
Thanks!
